How the Bulk Queue Works

The bulk queue handles large imports that exceed Shopify's daily variant creation limits.

When the Queue is Triggered

Offered when your store is above the 50,000 variant threshold, will cross it, or a standard import hits a throttle error.

How Batches Work

Products are split into daily batches of approximately 1,000 variants. Batch 1 imports immediately. Subsequent batches use Shopify's Bulk Operations API.
