Import Options & Review
What this article covers: How to let Importier propose specification values from each product's title and gathered details, so you confirm and tweak rather than type from scratch.

Auto-fill Specifications with AI

Once your Specification columns are set up, Importier can read each product's title and any details it has already gathered, and propose values for those columns. You stay in control: the proposed values are written into the Specification cells where you can edit them, and anything Importier is not confident about is left blank.

Before You Start

Steps

  1. On the Review Import step, with at least one Specification column assigned, select Auto-fill specs (AI).
  2. Importier reads each selected product's title and gathered details, and proposes a value for each assigned specification.
  3. Check the proposed values in the Specification columns. Edit any of them directly in the cells.
  4. Continue to import once you are happy.

How It Decides What to Fill

  • A cell is filled only when the value is clearly present in or implied by the title and details. When confidence is low, the cell is left blank for you to complete by hand.
  • Values you have already typed are never overwritten. Auto-fill only writes into empty cells, so you can set the ones you care about and let it propose the rest.

Tips

A title such as 8X42 ED Binocular lets Importier confidently propose a magnification of 8x and an objective lens of 42mm. Fields that are not inferable from the title or details, such as country of manufacture, are left blank by design rather than guessed.
