Generating Descriptions

The description generation step is where AI writes unique, SEO-optimised product descriptions for every product in your import.

Before You Generate

You need a saved preset. If you have not created one, click Open Settings, configure your AI model, persona, description style, tone, and formatting, save a preset, then return and click Refresh Presets.

If your supplier titles are messy, clean them up first so the generated copy reads better. See Bulk Title Editing Tools.

Batch Generation

Click Generate N Descriptions to start. The AI generates for each product: a full HTML description using your chosen description style, an SEO title (if enabled), a meta description (if enabled), and any custom metafield content.

Skip Descriptions

If your uploaded file already has good descriptions, click Skip Descriptions to move to the next step without generating. Every product keeps the description, title and meta description that came from your file. The button is always available, so you do not need to generate first.

What's Included section

When your source states the box contents, the generated description's What's Included section lists those exact items in point form instead of guessing. Importier reads them from a "What's in the box", "What's Included", "In the box" or "Box contents" list on a marketplace or supplier-URL listing, or from the manufacturer data found for a CSV or PDF import. For a second-hand or used item, only the product title is listed, because the original accessories and box may not be included. If the source states no box contents, the section is left out rather than invented.

Viewing Descriptions

Each description can be viewed in HTML view (raw source) or Preview (rendered). HTML view is shown by default.

Output Languages

Descriptions can be generated in 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, and Chinese.
