Metafields Not Appearing on Products

Fix: Install the correct Industry Pack in Settings. For electronics install "Electronics", for clothing install "Apparel & Accessories".

Products Missing a Category ID

Fix: Ensure the Enrichment step assigns a category, or map a "Category" column in your CSV.

Category Metafield Step Skipped

Fix: Ensure products have categories assigned and at least one Industry Pack is installed.

Value Not in Shopify's Taxonomy

If your source data has a value that does not exist in Shopify's taxonomy for that attribute, Importier leaves the field blank rather than picking a near match. Set the value yourself using the Specification columns in the Review step. See Manual Specification Assignment.

Working Out Which Attributes Were Skipped

The post-import warning now lists every skipped attribute grouped by reason (missing Industry Pack, value not in taxonomy, missing category, and so on), so you can see at a glance what to fix or fill in by hand.

Colour Values Missing on Older Imports

The Color attribute now imports reliably across categories. If an older import was missing colour values, re-importing the affected products now picks them up.
