Category Metafields (Taxonomy Attributes)

Automatically match products to Shopify taxonomy attributes like Color, Material, Size, and Age Group.

Prerequisites

1. Industry Packs installed in Settings.
2. Products with a Category ID assigned (from Enrichment or CSV).

How Matching Works

Phase 1: Text Matching - scans product title, description, tags, and variant options for matching values.

Phase 2: AI Matching - the AI picks from valid taxonomy values for attributes that could not be text-matched.

How Import Works

Importier looks up the correct metaobject type, creates a metaobject entry with the taxonomy reference, and sets the product metafield as a list.metaobject_reference.
